This gentleman's ensemble includes a doublet, Venetian slops and hose, and a flat hat. The doublet is based upon a German or English fencing doublet, originally fashioned in leather. It features tied-on sleeves and picadilles at the waist.
Worthy of note are the handmade monkey fist buttons and opulent gold trim which would have identified a gent as a dandy of the court
